Euronet e oltre...
The aim of the project is to give 50% of energy sawing
to the school itself and the remaining 50% would be the net profit given to the
administration that runs the school building . Therefore, all would benefit
from it: the school will be motivated to save energy in order to obtain more
money for its activities, the council administration will have lower energy
costs; also there will be a reduction of the emission of CO2 in the atmosphere.
The main aim is to involve the students in order to help them emerge as main
participants, but even their teachers and their families will be involved
within a school network which aims at saving energy. We hope that more schools
will work hard on this network promotion in order to achieve a more sustainable
use of energy and to exchange the best ideas throughout Europe.
Apart from our class, even the other third years of
the Institute have been into depth regarding the topics related to the
alternative sources of energy and to energy saving, and they have published
their works in some didactic blogs.

FERMI!!!!!!
Fermi, fermi! Ragionate!
Uomo fermati a pensare,
mettiti a ragionare
e la natura a salvaguardare.
Fermi, fermi e riflettete
perché tra un po’ ve ne pentirete.

STUDY TRIP IN NAPLES - THE CITY OF SCIENCE
STUDY TRIP IN NAPLES - THE CITY OF SCIENCE
OnThursday 10th November 2011, we pupils of the III B ^, accompanied by our teachers, we went to Naples to visit the "City of Science". This study trip is one of the activities of the project "Euronet 50 \ 50", to which our class has joined in the previous school year, promoted and funded by Alyosha, to sensitize the younger generation to save energy and contribute to a cleaner and non-polluting world. Led by our curiosity and our enthusiasm, we left from the Pietrosa Square at 6:00 o’clock in the morning and we arrived in Naples at about 10:00 o‘clock a.m. On arrival, we went into the City of Science where we were greeted by our guide, Angel, who showed us several experiments. We started with the "Bubble Run" and the guide let us understand the principle of buoyancy in a simple and practical way . Later, Angel took us to "Straighten Hair" which is a platform that allows you to see the effects of electrostatics. We tested the arm of iron and finally, "the vortex" that reproduces the effect of a hurricane. At the end of our very interesting visit, we had just enough time to have a picnic lunch and then to continue our tour of the museum. At this time, we were full of enthusiasm and curiosity while we were exploring and carrying out as many experiments as possible . We visited far and wide the various rooms of the museum. At about 2.30 p.m. we went to the planetarium. Also this was a fantastic experience: we watched the projection of a 3D film which showed us the life of stars and planets, trying the emotion to live like protagonists the event of a rain of stardust caused by the collision between two planets. It seemed that the dust was true and invest our bodies and we could perceive smells and sensations on our skin too. We were exited to have just lived this experience and so we asked the manager for permission to show us the machine through which you could see different constellations. Subsequently, we were divided into four groups and carried out an enthralling activity. We had to identify, grade and determine which was the cleanest among a number of items collected on the beaches. At the end of the activity, at about 5.30 p.m. we left for Lanciano after an impressive panoramic tour of Naples where we could admire its incomparable landscapes and places. We came back to Lanciano at about 9.00 o clock p.m. and we were tired but gratified and satisfied with this wonderful experience This trip will stay in our memories for ever since we could expand our knowledge both scientific and cultural. Moreover, we verified compliance of the rules in different places and situations. we knew the cultural and tourist resources of our country and strengthened our social and interpersonal relationships.
